Garden Condition:

This property is a large period house located in a Bognor Regis, West Sussex. The front garden was mainly laid to gravel and tarmac and very unispiring. The rear garden was maionly a mixture of everything althoug a dominat silver birch tree in the centre and then very oppressive conifer trees bordered the rear boundary of the property.

Client Brief:

To provide an area with a sufficient sized terrace for entertaining and dining, a wildlife area, water features. Design new planting borders and lawns with wild flower meadows and mown grass., Garden lighting and a fully automated irrigation system was to be incorperated into the design. Rainwater harvesting was also required in the garden

Weather conditions and duration of works:

The project started in March 2012 and after an initial dry spell the heavens opened making movement around the site extremely difficult, especially with the amount of soil movement that had to be made through one small entry point into the rear garden. it then turned very hot and warm for the remainder of the project.
