Setting out drawings

Setting out drawings is required by the contractor to set out the design on the ground prior to any construction processes taking place.

All drawings are to scale.

They will show the following:-

• The main design elements – terraces, paths, water features, proposed trees etc
• The building/property and any other buildings
• Detailed measurements from fixed points to – radius points of curves and circles, corners, and other key points to enable the setting out to be completed
